Fergal McManus Solicitor graduated from TCD in 1994, UCD in 1995 with a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law and trained with the firm of Dockrell Farrell Solicitors, Fitzwilliam Sq., Dublin 2 from 1995 to 1998. In 1998 he began working with Brian Morgan in Clones, joining him as a Partner in 2000, in the Practice now known as Morgan McManus in clones, co. monaghan.

Fergal McManus Solicitor practices particularly in the area of Property, Probate, Capital Taxes and Commercial Law, providing services to individuals, businesses and companies.

Fergal became a Professional Tax Adviser in 2003 with the Irish Taxation Institute. In 2013 he was appointed to the position of Notary Public upon application to the Supreme Court.

Given his proximity to the Border with Northern Ireland, he has considerable experience in dealing with Cross-Border issues relating to his areas of practice.

Fergal Mc Manus is Chairperson of the Board of Management of his local National School attended by his children.

Fergal Mc Manus is married to Eithne and they have five children.

He is a keen cyclist and triathlete. As well as competing in inter-club cycling races, Fergal also frequently competes in various distances of Triathlon.

He has completed several Ironman Distance Triathlons – 3.8KM Swim, 180KM Cycle and 42KM Run.

While he has yet to stand on the podium in any of these events, he says his main motivation is to beat his friends!
